please help me with this sum how did the -14 and 15 come?? please answer and I swear the first one who will answer with the right answer will be marked the brainliest.

By taking common denominator means we multiplied -7/12 by 2 and 5/8 by 3 to get -14/24 +15/24 so we can add them both .

LCM of 12 and 8 = 24

24 = 12*2  and  24 = 8*3

∴ (-7*2)/(12*2)  +   (5*3)/(8*3)

= -14/24  +   15/24

this how it came -14 and 15
