(2^-1/5^-1)*(-5/8)^-1

According to the laws of exponents, a^m/b^m = (a/b)^m.

Therefore (2^-1/5^-1) = (2/5)^-1

(2/5)^-1*(-5/8)^-1

According to the laws of exponents, a^m*b^m = (ab)^m.

Therefore, (2/5)^-1*(-5/8)^-1 = (2/5*-5/8)^-1

= (-10/40)^-1

According to the laws of exponents, a^-m = 1/a^m.

Therefore, (-10/40)^-1 = 1/-10/40^1

Hope it helps :)
