Dear emma,
You must have heard in the news by now that my city is flooding with water. I am writing this letter to inform you that my family and I are safe but, there has been a lot of damage in Mumbai.
For the last week, there has been continuous rainfall with thunder and lightening in our area and many building have collapsed. Many cars have drowned and there is a crisis of food and basic necessity . There is no electricity in our block and it feels like we're alive yet, living in hell. The government is giving shelter to beggars, labours and poor people but, many people have drowned, died due to fever and have got various diseases. I hope this epidemic finishes and we all can finally breathe in an open atmosphere.
