Answer

600m

Solution

Given

velocity of car A = 20m/s

velocity of car B = 10m/s

Acceleration of car A = 1m/s^2

Acceleration of car B = 2m/s^2

To Find

Distance between A and B

Formula of distance

S = ut + 1 / 2 at^2

Distance of car A

S = 20t + 1 / 2 t^2 ......... (1)

Distance of car B

S = 10t + t^2 .......... (2)

we know that A = B

=> 20t + 1 / 2 t^2 = 10t + t^2

=> 10t = t^2 - 1 / 2 t^2

=> 10t = t^2 / 2

=> t = 20 seconds

Put t = 20 seconds in equation (2)

we get

=> 10(20) + ( 20) ^2

=> 200 + 400

=> 600 m = ANSWER
