Both the triangles are congruent because of the SAS(side-angle-side) congruent rule. So when substituting the angle BAC and DAC if their corresponding and respective side you would get that AD and AB are equal as their angles are 90 degree. So now we know that AD and AB are same and when this two triangles are joined it forms a isosceles triangle.

So here as in the question they have mentioned BC = DC

Apply the SAS rule as the BC,DC and AD,AB are same. These angles vertices are also same which gives us angle BAC = DAC
