Answer:

I've lived in Melbourne and have seen the likes of both city centers and countryside living places, and some things I feel can be mentioned and interesting to tell.

But to clarify, I'm not going to be talking about outback-like rural plains where the nearest food store is a plane ride away.

In the city it is dense in people, but in the countryside people are closer

Because there are fewer people living in the countryside, structures tend to be more sparse, and you'll find people frequently using the same church, food stores and other commodity areas that eventually form small communities, making people bond tighter. Families also tend to live closer, and their friends are your friends. In cities, you may be surrounded with people, but you could still feel rather alone. Family members are scattered everywhere, and in the end you only really have old friends and coworkers to talk to.

Just being in a city stresses you, just being in the countryside eases you

The vibrancy in the city comes with an inherent feeling to move faster, simply because everything around you is just as fast; people, cars, buses, all make you want to get to your destination faster. The countryside tends to be a lot greener, things move slower, and quieter. Together with the smell of trees and cow manure, as long as you aren't stressing about money, the atmosphere would calm you down.

The city develops lightning fast, but the countryside isn't exactly underdeveloped

The countryside tends to have fewer intellectually driven people, not because they don't pursue education, but because those who do would seek development in cities. As a result, the cities develop in a much faster pace than the countryside. That does not however mean that the countryside lacks the basic necessities like water and electricity, the fact that chained supermarkets exists (albeit fewer) in the countryside should show how it isn't always outhouse-in-the-woods type of underdevelopment.

You watch horror movies in cities, in the countryside you witness it

The countryside does come with a dark side. Because everything seems so lax, people may do things you can never imagine when nobody's looking. Mutiliating animals, making sacrifices, maybe even a murder. Being in a less densely populated area means the nutty people become more obvious, and you may see horror in your lifetime, because nobody may pick up the mess before you show up the scene.
