Required Answer:-

Given to simplify:

  •  \sf \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 2}  -  {3}^{a + 1} }{4 \times  {3}^{a}  -  {3}^{a} }

Solution:

We have,

 \sf \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 2}  -  {3}^{a + 1} }{4 \times  {3}^{a}  -  {3}^{a} }

 \sf =  \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 1}  \times {3}^{1} -  {3}^{a + 1} }{4 \times  {3}^{a}  -  {3}^{a} }

 \sf =  \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 1}(3 -1)}{{3}^{a} (4 - 1) }

 \sf =  \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 1}(3 -1)}{{3}^{a} \times 3 }

 \sf =  \dfrac{ {3}^{a + 1}(3 -1)}{{3}^{a + 1} }

 \sf = (3 -1)

 \sf = 2

Hence, after simplification, the result we get is 2.

Answer:

  • After simplification, Result = 2.
