★Given★

19–7x ≤ 2x–8

To Find

The value of 'x'

Solution

» 19–7x ≤ 2x–8

On adding 8 to both sides:

» 19+8–7x ≤ 2x–8+8

» 27–7x ≤ 2x

On adding 7x to both sides:

» 27–7x+7x ≤ 2x+7x

» 27 ≤ 9x

or » 9x ≥ 27

On dividing by 9 on both sides:, we get:

» 9x/9 ≥ 27/9

» x ≥ 3

∴ The value of x is either equal to 3 or greater than 3.

i.e., [3,∞)

Answer:

The answer is x ≥ 3

Step-by-step explanation:

19 – 7x ≤ 2x -8

19 - 7x - 2x ≤ -8

- 7x - 2x ≤ -8 - 19

-9x ≤ -27

x ≥ -27/-9

x ≥ 3
