1. they are isotopes, hence they maust be joined into one position with a mass number of 35.5, and atomic number 17

2. Hydrogen follows the properties of both metal and non-metal, however, during bonding, it generally follows halogens...hence it can be placed in group 17. This is thus a drawback of the modern periodic table as to where Hydrogen should be placed.
