Oh ! that's too much.

But don't worry I'll try my best. ^_°

6) A U A' = U (universal Set) ___(Ans.)

7) A ⋂ A' = Ø ( null Set ) _______(Ans.)

8) if A ⊆ B then all elements of A lies also in set B.

So, A ⋂ B = A _______(Ans.)

9) If A ⊆ B then A U B = B______(Ans.)

10) n(A) = 25 ; n(B) = 20 ; n(A U B) = 10

So, we know that

n(A U B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A ⋂ B)

n(A U B) = 25 + 20 - 10

n(A U B) = 35 _________ (Ans.)

11) n(A) = 11 ; n(B) = 7 & n(A U B) = 13

So, once again

n(A U B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A ⋂ B)

13 = 11 + 7 - n(A ⋂ B)

n(A ⋂ B) = 5 _________ (Ans.)

12) A = { 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13} &

B = { 3, 4, 7, 11, 13}

So, (A ⋂ B) = terms which are common in A & B set

Hence, (A ⋂ B) = {4, 11, 13}______(Ans.)

13) U = { x| x € N, 1≤ x <10 }

A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} & B = {4, 5, 7, 8, 9}

So,

U = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}

A' = U - A = {6, 7, 8, 9}

B' = U - B = {1, 2, 3, 6}

Hence (A' ⋂ B') = {6} _______(Ans.)

14) n(B) = 40 ; n(A ⋂ B) = 20 &

n(A U B) = 35 so, n(A) = ?

Once again,

n(A U B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A ⋂ B)

35 = n(A) + 40 - 20

n(A) = 15 ___________ (Ans.)

15) P = { x | x = 2^n , n € I }

Then P is an INFINITE SET.

Because for different values of n we get different x.

Hope it helps.
