A rectangular lawn 18 m by 30 m is surrounded by a concrete path 1 m wide.
Find the total area of concrete.

Area of lawn = l*b

= 18*30

= 540m^2 (1)

area of lawn ( including path) = 20*32

= 640m^2(2)

Now

area of path = Substracting 1 from 2

= 640-540

area of path = 100m^2
