A parallelogram has an area of 111.86 ft² and a height of 11.9 ft.
The base of the parallelogram.
Area (a) = 111.86 ft²
Height (h) = 11.9 ft.
Let the base be 'b'
_______________________
Then, we know that the area of a parallelogram is the product of its base and its height.
=> Area = b × h
= 11.9 × b
= 11.9 b
But, according to the question, area is 111.86 ft².
Hence, both areas are equal
Then,
11.9 b = 111.86
=> b = 111.86/11.9
=> b = 9.4 ft
That is your answer.
