The Solution to 17.

Question 17 is a graph of a rational function. The two asymptotes of the graph are perpendicular to each other. Remember the definition of an asymptote. The graph and asymptote never touch each other.

Domain: Real values of x such that x\neq -2

Range: Real values of y such that y\neq -4

Question 18 is a graph of a square root function. For values that radicand is positive, the graph is drawn.

Domain: Real values of x such that x\geq -5
