lat 2/√7 is rrational num
2/√7=p/q(p ans q is coprites )
2q/p=√7
p/q is fraction num
to 2p/q is fraction num
√7 is a irrational
fraction not = irrational
so 2/√7 is irrational

Let 2√7 be a rational number which can be expressed in the form of p/q where p and q are integers relatively prime and q is not equal to zero.
2√7=p/q
p/2q=√7
since p and 2q are integers so
p/2q is a rational number which implies that
√7 is a rational number which is not true.
hence assumption is wrong.
therefore 2/√7 is an irrational number.
