So here 2 moles of HCl requires with 1 mole Ca(NO3)2 so

1 moles of HCl requires ————>1/2 moles of Ca(NO3)2

So 4 moles require 1/2*4=2 moles of Ca(NO3)2

{basically unitary method}

Next question

1 moles of Ca(NO3)2 according to equation gives 2 moles HNO3

Therefore for 12 moles 6 moles will be required

2 moles HNO3 is given by 1 mole Ca(NO3)2

1 mole is given by 1/2 moles

Ca(NO3)2

12 moles given by 1/2*12=6

{basically just remember the stoichiometric coefficients are the moles of products and rectants formed or required respectively}
