let R1 = 7ohm

R2 = 5ohm

R3 = 6ohm

R2 and R3 are connected in parallel

therefore 1/Rp = 1/R2+1/R3

= 1/5+1/6

1/Rp = 11/30

Rp = 30/11ohm

also R1 and (R2+R3) are connected in series

therefore Rs = R1+R2+R3

= 7+5+6

Rs = 18ohm

therefore resultant resistance = Rp+Rs

= 30/11+18

= 22/8ohm

total current = V/R

= 6/22/8

= 24/11 ampere

voltage across 7ohm is 6V
