Given : - ∠MED = 11 x - 10

              ∠ECD = 6x +11

              ∠EDC = 39°  

By the theorem

An exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the opposite interior angles.

11x - 10 = 6x + 11 + 39

5x = 60

x = 12
