Answer:

Two numbers are in the ratio 7:11

Let those numbers be 7x and 11x,

if 7 is added two those numbers, it will become 7x + 7 and 11x + 7 and it will be in the ratio 2:3

Hence, by problem-

7x + 7 + 11x + 7= 2x + 3x

or 18x + 14 = 5x

or 18x - 5x = -14

or 13x = -14

therefore, x = 13/-14

Now, the numbers are- 7x = 7 × 13/-14 = 13/-2

and- 11x = 11 × 13/-14

Answer:

7x +7/11x +7 = 2/3

3(7x +7 ) = 2(11x +7)

21x +21 = 22x - 14

21-14 = 22x -21x

7= x

so the numbers are 1. 7×7 =49

2. 7×11 = 77
