Find the angle subtended in degrees and radians at the center of a circle of diameter 50 cm by an arc of length 11cm

L = R * theta   where L is the length of the arc and theta is in radians

theta = 11 / 25 = .44 radians          angle subtended in radians

theta (degrees) = .44 / (2 * pi)  * 360 = 25.2 deg

Since 360 deg = 2 * pi radians
