1) So, Unknown gas is Hydrogen gas

2. Creates a bubbles of it

when that bubbles contact with the unknown gas It makes Pop Sound

AS H2SO4 +Zn ----> ZnSO4 + H2

ZINC DISPLACES HYDROGEN AND HYDROGEN IS FORMED

(ii) HYDROGEN CAN BE TESTED BY AS FOLLOWING-

1- IT BURNS IN AIR WITH A POP SOUND.

2-HYDROGEN IS COLLECTED THROUGH DOWNWARD DISPLACEMENT OF AIR.

3-IT IS TASTELESS, ODOURLESS AND COLOURLESS GAS.

4- IT IS NEUTRAL TO LITMUS.

5- IT BURNS WITH A PALE BLUE FLAME IN AIR

6- IT DOESN'T SUPPORTS COMBUSTION .

7- IT IS NOT EASILY REACTIVE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE BUT HIGHLY AT HIGHER TEMPERATURES.
