Step-by-step explanation:

Let total area of land be x m^2

Rajesh bought x/3 of land

Remaining = x - x/3

= 2x/3

Manoj bought = 1/3 * 2x/3

= 2x/9

Total bought by Rajesh and Manoj

x/3 + 2x/9 = 5x/9

ATQ, x - 5x/9 = 600

=> 4x/9 = 600

=> x = 600 * 9/4

= 150*9

= 1350

GIVEN:-

A PIECE OF LAND THAT IS BROUGHT UP BY 1/3 PART BY RAJESH AND 1/3 PART BY MANOJ

LEFT PART UNSOLD 600M²

TO FIND:-

TOTAL AREA OF LAND

SOLUTION:-

GIVEN LET THE TOTAL AREA BE OF 1 M²

SO ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION,

Let the piece of land = 1 m

Let the piece of land = 1 mLand bought by Rajesh = 1 × 1/3 = 1/3 m

Let the piece of land = 1 mLand bought by Rajesh = 1 × 1/3 = 1/3 mRemaining Land = 1 – 1/3

Let the piece of land = 1 mLand bought by Rajesh = 1 × 1/3 = 1/3 mRemaining Land = 1 – 1/3=> (3 - 1)/3

(3 - 1)/3=> 2/3 m

Now, Land bought by Manoj = 2/3 × 1/3

Now, Land bought by Manoj = 2/3 × 1/3=> 2/9 m

2/9 mLand unsold = 2/3 – 2/9

2/9 mLand unsold = 2/3 – 2/9=> (6 – 2)/9

(6 – 2)/9=> 4/9 m

Land of 4/9 m remain unsold = 600 m²

∴ Total area of the land = 600 × 9/4

∴ Total area of the land = 600 × 9/4=> 150 × 9 m²

=> 1350 m²
