To Find :

  • Find the total no. of students.

Solution :

According to Question :-

{\rightarrow{\sf{No. \:  of \:  boys = No.  \: of  \: girls + 8}}}

Let the ratios be x :

No. of boys = 7x

No. of girls = 5x

Total students = ?

Than,

{\leadsto{\sf{7x - 5x = 8}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{2x = 8}}}

{\leadsto{\sf{X = {\cancel\frac{8}{2} }}}}

{\large{\red{:{\mapsto{\underline{\purple{\boxed{\bf{X = 4}}}}}}}}}

Hence,

{\red{\sf{No. \:  of  \: boys = 7x = 7  \times  4 = 28 \: boys}}}

{\red{\sf{No.  \: o f \:  girls = 5x = 5  \times 4 = 20  \: girls}}}

So,

{\leadsto{\blue{\bf{Total  \: students = 28 + 20}}}}

{\orange{\underbrace{\red{\boxed{\bf{48 \:  Students}}}}}}
