GIVEN :-

  • AD PERPENDICULAR BC
  • AD BISECTS ANGLE BAC

TO PROVE :-

  • ANGLE ACE = ?

PROOF :-

ANGLE BDA = ANGLE CDA ( 90° EACH )

=> 90° + 30° + ANGLE BAD = 180

=> ANGLE BAD = 180° - 120°

=> ANGLE BAD = 60°

ANGLE BAD = ANGLE CAD( BISECTOR OF AD )

=> 90° + 60° + ANGLE ACD = 180°

=> ANGLE ACD = 180° - 150°

=> ANGLE ACD = 30°

ANGLE ACD + ANGLE ACE = 180 ( LINEAR PAIR )

=> 30° + ANGLE ACE = 180°

=> ANGLE ACE = 180 - 30

=> ANGLE ACE = 150°
