Aim:

  • To prove that the air requires space to occupy

Materials Required:

  • Trough
  • Small Tumbler
  • Water

Procedure:

  • Take a trough add some water and add some crystal of sugar.
  • Now stirr it properly until the sugar particle get inside the space.
  • After stirring take into a glass tumbler (small) shake it . you will observe that nothing is left behind.

Observations:

  • You will observe that nothing is left behind.

Conclusion:

  • It concluded that water requires air to occupy the space.
