Correct Question: If x = 4t³ + 2t² + 6t + 5. Then find avg. velocity from 0 to 2 seconds.

Answer:

Average velocity(v) = 28 m/s

Explanation:

Given;-

          X= 4t³ + 2t² + 6t + 5

Differentiating X, we get;-

    dx/dt = d (4t³ + 2t² + 6t + 5)/dt

          V = 12t² + 4t + 6

Now,

Finding [v] at t=0,

                 V(initial)  = 12(0)² + 4(0) + 6

                             V = 6 m/s

Finding [v] at t=2,

                    V(final) = 12(2)² + 4(2) + 6

                             V = 48 + 8 + 6

                             V = 62 m/s

Now, finding average velocity;-

Since,    Average Velocity= Vf - Vi/ Δt [where Vf= final velocity, Vi= initial velocity & Δt = change in time]

Now,

             Average Velocity= 62 - 6 / 2

             Average Velocity= 28 m/s
