Given:

Average salary of all workers in a workshop = ₹10,600

Average salary of 8 skilled workers = ₹ 15,000

Average salary of all remaining unskilled workers = ₹ 9,000

Total number of skilled workers = 8

To Find:

Total number of workers in the workshop

Answer:

Let total number of workers in workshop be 'x'

So, Total number of unskilled workers = (x - 8)

 =  > Average \: salary \: of \: all \: workers \: in \: workshop =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: all \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{Total \: number \: of \: workers} \\  \\  =  > 10,600 =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: all \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{x}  \\  \\  =  > Total \: salary \: of \: all \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop = 10,600x

Similar;

 =  > Average \: salary \: of \: unskilled\: workers \: in \: workshop =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: unskilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{Total \: number \: of \:unskilled \:  workers} \\  \\  =  > 9,000 =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: unskilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{(x - 8)}  \\  \\  =  > Total \: salary \: of \: unskilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop = 9,000(x - 8)

Also,

 =  > Average \: salary \: of \: skilled \: workers \: in \: workshop =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: skilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{Total \: number \: of \: skilled \: workers} \\  \\  =  > 15,000 =  \frac{Total \: salary \: of \: skilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop}{8}  \\  \\  =  > Total \: salary \: of \: skilled\: workers \: in \: a \: workshop = 15,000 \times 8 \\  \\  =  > Total \: salary \: of \: skilled\: workers \: in \: a \: workshop = 1,20,000

So,

 =  > Total \: salary \: of \: all \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop =Total \: salary \: of \: unskilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop  + Total \: salary \: of \: skilled \: workers \: in \: a \: workshop  \\  \\  =  > 10,600x = 9,000(x - 8) + 1,20,000 \\  \\  =  > 10,600x = 9,000x - 9,000 \times 8 + 1,20,000 \\  \\  =  > 10,600x - 9,000x = 1,20,000 - 72,000 \\  \\  =  > 1,600x = 48,000 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{48,000}{1,600}  \\  \\  =  > x = 30

Therefore,

 \boxed{\bold{Total \:number \:of\: workers \:in \:workshop = 30}}
