A Brahmin wife gave a birth to a son. The same day , a female mangoose gave a birth to a baby and died. The Brahmins wife brought up him as his own child.
One day, was going to the well to fetch water. The husband left the house too.
Soon, a snake came and slithered towards the baby. Immediately the mangoose killed the snake. To show his bravery the mangoose outside the house. The Brahmins wife was arrived and saw the mangoose smeared with blood, she thought that the mangoose killed here son. She threw the heavy picher of water on the mangoose and killed him.
Then she went inside the house and saw the dead snake laying on the floor and here baby was sleeping. Then she realised that the mangoose had killed the snake and not here son.
Moral of the story- Think for a while and do things.
