Activity 4

Take two pieces of glazed paper of different colours (say, yellow and red). Cut a square piece of about 24 cm from the yellow paper and a square piece of size 26 cm from the red paper. Cut slits of 2 cm each at equal distances in the yellow paper. Cut strips of 2 cm width from the red paper. Insert the red strips one by one, through the slits in the yellow paper. You will get a woven sheet of paper. Weaving of fabrics is done in a similar way.
