(a+b)² = a²+ b² + 2ab
(a-b)² = a²+ b² - 2ab
a²- b²= (a+b)(a-b)

hii!!

some identities of algebra which I know:-

1. (a+b)²

= a² + 2ab + b²

example:

(2x+5)²

here 2x is a and 5 is b.

= a² + 2ab + b²
= (2x)² + 2(2x)(5) + (5)²
= 4x² + 20x + 25

2. (a-b)²

= a² - 2ab + b²

example:

(6x-2)²

here 6x is a and 2 is b.

= a² - 2ab + b²
= (6x)² - 2(6x)(2) + (2)²
= 36x² - 24x + 4

3. (a+b)(a-b)

= a² - b²

example:

(5x+7)(5x-7)

here 5x is a and 7 is b.

= a² - b²
= (5x)² - (7)²
= 25x² - 49

4. (a+b)(a+x)

= a² + (b+x)a + (b×x)

example:

(2a+9)(2a+5)

here 2a is a, 9 is b and 5 is x.

= a² + (b+x)a + (b×x)
= (2a)² + (9+5)×2a + (9×5)
= 4a² + 14×2a + 45
= 4a² + 28a + 45

hope this helps u..!
