Dear Lover
Let us differentiated active and passive immunity
ACTIVE
- It develops due to contact with pathogen or its antigen
- It is very slow but long lasting
- It has no or very few side effects
- It takes time to elicit response
- E.g. Immunity by vaccination
PASSIVE
- It develops when readymade antibodies are injected in to the body.
- It is very fast but lasts only for few days
- It may cause side effects
- Effective when immjne response has to be faster.
- E.g. Colostrum

Active immunity involves your bodies direct response to an unknown pathogen. This response is the production of antibodies specific to the antigen of a particular pathogen. ... However, this immunity is not long term and may only last a few days.Passive and active immunity both have natural and artificial forms.
