First compute for the indefinite integral

∫ 4x - 5 dx

= ∫4x dx - ∫5dx

= 4∫x dx - 5x

= 4 (x^2)/2 - 5x

= 2x^2 - 5x + C

now,

(0->2) ∫ | 4x - 5 dx |

= ( 2x^2 - 5x ) | (x=2) - (2x^2 - 5x) | (x=0)

= (8-10) - (0)

= (-2) (ans.)
