Hey mate here is your answer.............!!☺

_______________________________________________________________

Firstly, just have a intro. of Entropy.

In statistical mechanics, entropy is an extensive property of a thermodynamic system. It is closely related to the number Ω of microscopic configurations (known as microstates) that are consistent with the macroscopic quantities that characterize the system (such as its volume, pressure and temperature). Under the assumption that each microstate is equally probable, the entropy  is thenatural logarithm of the number of microstates, multiplied by the Boltzmann constant kB.

Now your answer....... :-)

Ya it can be decreased by removing the heat , so option A is right☺.

Answer:

The entropy is decreased when the heat is removed. Hence, the correct option is (a) Heat is removed.

Explanation:

Entropy can be defined as the measurement of the degree of randomness, Entropy increases as temperature increases as it increases the randomness. An increase in temperature shows that the particles of the substance are having greater kinetic energy. When heat is removed from the system, the entropy decreases, when heat is added to the system the entropy increases. As the heat is removed, the temperature is decreased, so the entropy is decreased.

Hence, the entropy is decreased when the heat is removed. Hence, the correct option is (a) Heat is removed.
