Earth: I am so blessed to have you as you my companion forever! I just wonder if you were not there, what would happen to me. You give me life. You make my flowers blossom! You nurture the green trees, crops and plants! All animals and plants live because of you! You replenish the lakes, rivers, and oceans of the world. You are always busy giving yourself to the world. At times I wonder you are the manifestation of God himself!

Rain: Dear earth you are extolling me beyond the limit I deserve. I am nothing! The truth is you are my parent; you are my source. I could not exist without you. May be you are oblivious of the fact that I am born from the oceans, lakes, rivers, and forests that are your children. Being your child it is my duty to give life to the source I take life from.

Earth: I never thought like this before. The beauty of the truth is both of us are two beautiful parts of the great big whole created so exquisitely by God.

Earth: "Hello Mr. Rain, how do you do?"
Rain: "I am fine, thank you."
Earth: "Why don't you visit my land. The people are eagerly looking forward to meet you."
Rain: "Is that so?"
Earth: "Yes, the farmers are waiting for you to come and bless their crops. So that they can have a bountiful harvest."
Rain: "I would like to visit you, but you know I am bound by some regulations."
Earth: "What regulations?"
Rain: "I can come during the monsoon or rainy season."
Earth: "Oh, please do come soon. We shall be waiting for you."
Rain: "Thank you so much for your invitation. I shall surely come soon."
