GIVEN QUESTION ⤵️

In a right angle triangle ABC, the lengths of legs one is given. Find length of hypotenus.

ANSWER**⤵️

a) a=6cm, b=8cm

we know the formula of hypotenuse i.e ⤵️

A²+B²=C²

by this formula we can find the length of hypotenuse.

By the problem given a=6cm b=8cm

By using the above formula ⤵️

6²+8²=c²(where c is hypotenuse).

36+64=c²

100=c²

c=

 \sqrt{100}

=10 So hypotenuse of the 1st question is 10cm.

b) Given question a=8cm b=15cm

As w know the formula a²+b²=c²⤵️

by substituting a b values in above formula we get⤵️

8²+15²=c²

64+225=c2

289=c²

c =  \sqrt{289}

C=17 There fore hypotenuse of 2nd question is 17cm

c) Given question a=2.5cm and b=6cm

as we know the formula a²+b²=c²⤵️

2.5²+6²=c²

6.25+36=c²

c²=42.25

c =  \sqrt{42.25}

C=6.5 there fore the hypotenuse of 3rd question is 6.5 cm
