Answer:

Explanation:

1) we can reduce the pain by applying alcohol in it or we can also use heat to reduce the pain.

2)plants growth depends on pH of the soil.

in case of animals, the various degestive enzymes or various body fluids have different pH levels. for examples human stomach contain HCl which is acidic. also the tears or the bloods use to have pH between 7.0 to 7.8

3) pH is nothing but a scale which is used to count the concentration of hydrogen ion in a solution .

4) pH scale was inroduced by Søren Sørensen.

range of pH scale is 0 to 14

formula for pH = -log[ H+]

5) a) in digestive system.

b) in making curd.

c) in cleaning liquids.

d) in drinking water

e) in the tooth paste

f) in the soap

g) in the shampoo

6) During constipation there is an excess amount of acid formed in our stomach, which causes pain and burning sensation in our stomach. so to get relief from that pain we use Antacids. which basically neutralizes the excess acid formed inside our stomach.

example - Magnesium hydroxide Mg(OH)2

7) during the production of curd the milk become acidic . so the pH change to acidic values.

8) Tooth enamal is made up of Calcium phosphate. it does not dissolve in water but it may dissolve in acid. so if the pH of mouth changes to less than 5.5 then the acid react with the calcium phosphate for which decaying of tooth starts.

9) For the proper growth and productivity of plants the pH range of the soil should be within a limit. moreover soil pH also effect the living of the various animals like earthworms and other insects.

10) the living organisms have a narrow range of pH . since too much acidic may result in the damaging of the various tissues. also too much basic solution may cause problem in digestive system .

11) A) solution D is neural

B) solution C is strongly alkaline

C) solution B is strongly acidic

D) solution A is weakly acidic

E) solution E is weakly alkaline
