Answer:

(a). x = 55 degree

(b). x = 36 degree

(c). x = 70 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

(a). Let the angle adjacent to x be y. Angle y = 125 degree ( corresponding angles ). Angle x = 180 degree - y i.e., 180 degree - 125 degree ( Linear pair ). So 180 - 125 = 55 degree.

(b). Let 2x + 3x = 180 degree ( straight line ) and ( linear pair ). 5x = 180 degree. x = 180/5. x = 36. So, 2x = 2*x = 2*36 = 72

3x = 3*x = 3*36 = 108

(c). Same step of first one. Let the angle adjacent to x be y. Angle y = 110 degree ( corresponding angles ). Angle x = 180 degree - y i.e., 180 degree - 110 degree ( Linear pair ). So 180 - 110 = 70 degree
