Total number of people working in the office = 72

Total number of men in office = 28

Since, total number of men in office + total number of women in office = total number of people in office

total number of women in office = 72-28 = 44

a) ratio of number men to that of woman = no. of men : no. of women

= 28 : 44 = 7 : 11

b) ratio of number of men to the total number of people = no. men : total number of people = 28 : 72 = 7 : 18

c) ratio of number of women to the total number of people = no. women : total number of people = 44 : 72 = 11 : 18
