b (i)

R = speed in air / speed in water

= 3 * 10^8 / 2 * 10^8

= 3/2

= 1.5

R of air w.r.t to water = 1/1.5

= 1/3/2

= 2/3

(ii) Refractive index = 1/5/3

= 3/5

= 0.6

c )

Substance B is a better conductor as it rises in temp more than A .

(b) (i)The refractive index of water with respect to air equal to the reciprocal of the refractive index of air with respect to water... i.e.

a[mew]g=1/g[mew]a

(ii)3/5

(c) B is a good conductor of heat. As B requires only 400J of heat to raise the temperature of 1kg of itself by 1K while A requires 3800J

Sorry had no symbols for[mew]...pls mark brainliest...
