Let, the centre be O and two equals chords be AB and CD that intersect at E

   then, M and N point on AB and CD respectively

To proveAE=DE and BE=CE

IN, ΔOME and ΔONE

OM=ON {∵ Equal chords are equidistant from centre}

OE=OE {∵Common}

∴ΔOME ≅ ΔONE

∴ ME=NE {∵C.P.C.T}

AM+ME=DN+NE {∵AM=DN=\frac{1}{2} AB=\frac{1}{2} CD}

AE=DE

AB-AE=CD=DE

BE=CE
