If radius of circular park us 28m. Then,
Area of Park only
= πr² = 22/7 × 28 × 28 = 2464m²
If the park is surrounded by a road 7 m wide. Then, radius is (28+7=) 35m. Then,
Area of Park with road
= πR² = 22/7 × 35 × 35 = 3850m²
Thus area of road only is
= Area of Park with road - Area of Park
=( 3850 - 2464)m² = 1380m²
