Solution:-

Defination :-

• An equation containing a single variable of degree 2.

• its general form is ax2 + bx + c = 0, where x is the variable and a, b, and c are constants (a ≠ 0).

Now,

a) x - 3/x = 4

multiply both side by x

=> x² - 3 = 4x

=> x² - 4x - 3 = 0 ....... ( 1 )

b) 3x - 5/x = x²

multiply both side by x

=> 3x² - 5 = x³

=> - x³ + 3x² - 5 = 0

=> x³ - 3x² + 5 = 0 ....... ( 2 )

c) x + 1/x = 3

multiply both side by x

=> x² + 1 = 3x

=> x² - 3x + 1 = 0 ........... ( 3 )

d) x² - 3 = 4x²

=> x² - 4x² - 3 = 0

=> - 2x² - 3 = 0

=> 2x² + 3 = 0 ........ ( 4 )

According to defination from eq. ( 2 ) option ( b ) is not a quadratic equation.

i hope it helps you.
