let rs 50 notes be x and that of 100 be y

x+y=25

50x+100y=2000

let the first be eq 1 and other be eq2

multiplying eq 1 by 25

25x+25y=625

now you can solve the equation u will easily get the values of x and y

I guess there will be many questions similar to this so just try to form two equations as per the question and then rest is going to be very easy
