(1) ans;The working conditions were terrible during the Industrial Revolution. As factories were being built, businesses were in need of workers. With a long line of people willing to work, employers could set wages as low as they wanted because people were willing to do work as long as they got paid. People worked fourteen to sixteen hours a day for six days a week. Skilled workers earned a little more, but not significantly more. Women received one-third or sometimes one-half the pay that men received. Children received even less. Owners, who were only concerned with making a profit, were satisfied because labor costed less. 

(2) ans;The problems faced by the weavers are:
(i) By the 1860s, weavers faced a new problem They could not get sufficient supply of raw cotton of good quality.
(ii) When the American Civil War broke out and cotton supplies from the US were cut off, Britain turned to India. 
(iii) AS raw cotton exports from India increased, the price of raw cotton shot up. weavers in India were starved of supplies and forced to buy raw cotton at exorbitant prices. In this situation, weavers couldn't pay.

(3) ans;The Swadeshi Movement returned control of the production and consumption of goods to Indians,it revived local art and music and spurred educational development under Indian.

(4) ans;Becaus of the following reasons:
-unable to modernise and complete with the US , Germany and Japan the economy of Britain crumbled after the world war.
- cotton production collapsed and exports of cotton cloth from Britain fail dramatically.
-within the colonies local Industrialist gradually consolidated their position substituting foreign manufacturers and capturing the home market.

(5) ans;Old advertising is all about creating the right anticipation, making sure the participant has the best possible outset before the experience, coloring both the usage and the reflection.
New advertising is about the experience, creating it, particiating in it, adding additional experiences to enforce and diverse the brand. New Marketing is all about the experience.
