Given:-

Speed of the car when it travels from A to B=30km/h

Speed of the car when it travels from B to A=60km/h

Let,the two speeds be V1 and V2 respectively.

To find:-

Average speed of the car during the whole journey

Solution:-

We can see here that the distanve travellwd by the car is same in both cases.

Thus,when distance travelled by the car is same,tgen average speed is----

 \frac{2v1v2}{v1 + v2}

=>

 \frac{2 \times 30 \times 60}{30 + 60}

 \frac{3600}{90}

=>40km/h

Thus,the average speed of the car during the whole journey is 40km/h.
