answer of second question is -5.5 because change in linear momentum equals to final momentum - initial momentum forgiven your mass equals to 0.5 and initial velocity equals to 5 metre per second and final velocity in negative direction equals to 6 formula of momentum equals to p=mv therefore∆p=p2-p1 ∆p=-0.5×5-0.5×6=-2.5-3=-5.5
