Speed of Aditya = 18/4 kmph

Speed of Vihaan = 11/2 kmph

Ratio of their speeds = (18/4):(11/2)

Answer:

Aditya walks @ 18 km in 4 hr

speed = distance ÷ time

= (18 × 1000) ÷ (4 × 60 × 60)

( km is changed to m and hr is changed to s as m/s is the SI unit)

= 18000 ÷ 14400

= 1.25 m/s

Vihan walks @ 11km in 2 hr

speed = distance ÷ time

= (11 × 1000) ÷ ( 2 × 60 × 60)

( km is changed to m and hr is changed to s as m/s is the SI unit)

= 11000 ÷ 7200

= 1.5 m/s

Therefore the ratio is

Aditya : Viaan :: 1.25 : 1.52

Hope this helps...
