triangle BPQ and QRC are congruent

how means angle P and angle R are each 90 (right angle)

PQ=QR one of the side

BQ=QC are equal and hypotenuse these are given in the question so by RHS congruency those two triangles are congruent

so BP=CR are equal --EQ1

and draw a line from Q to A

So that it will acts as common hypotenuse

and PQ=QR one of the side

P and R are 90

by RHS

PQA and RQA are congruent

so AP=AR--EQ2

So add eq1 and eq2

BP+AP=CR+AR

AB=AC

hence proved
