32 = 2^5

2^8 - 2^5 = 2^3.

law of indices used( second) a^m ÷a^n = a^m-n.

{2}^{8}  \div 2^{5}  = 2^{3} \\ law=a^{m} \div  a^{n} = a^{m - n}
