<A + <B = 90 °

7 + 4x + x + 23 = 90°

5x + 30 = 90°

5x = 60°

x = 12°

Now, <A = 7 + 48 = 55 degree

< B = 12 + 23 = 35 degree

So, i) <A is acute is true.

We know that two angles are complementary when they add up to 90 degrees.

Given : ∠A = 7° + 4x and ∠B = x + 23°.

⇒ 7 + 4x + x + 23 = 90

⇒ 5x + 30 = 90

⇒ 5x = 90 - 30

⇒ 5x = 60

⇒ x = 12.

Now,

⇒ ∠A = 7 + 4(x) = 7 + 48 = 55.

⇒ ∠B = x + 23 = 12 + 23 = 35.

Therefore, ∠A is acute. - Option (A).

Hope this helps!
