The main causes of the Great Agrarian Depression of USA in 1930 were as follows: 1.Introduction of mechanisation in agriculture. 2.Surplus production of wheat due to the use of machines. 3.Prices of wheat fell due to rising production and the export market shattered.

When the Americans reached the Mississippi Valley, first of all they attempted to displace the native Americans from the existing settlements.Though they fought back in order to avoid the narrow escape but they were eventually  defeated.Their villages were set on fire, the entire cattle were destroyed and the pastures were converted to agricultural land. This eventually led to severe dust storms and blizzards that turned into a massive calamity by large scale destruction and death in the year 1930.
